Holy Fire Temples in India

Zoroastrians believe that consecrated Eternal Atash Bahram & Adarian Fires are living entities with their own Khorreh ( Farr ) and Ravān ( Soul ).
In keeping with that tradition, the Birthdays of the Holy Atash PādShāh ( or Kings ) is celebrated with great fanfare. On the auspicious Roz of Mehregan these Atash Babrams celebrate their Sālgreh or Birthdays.
